Gout

Acute symptoms of gout (flare-ups) seem to happen more frequently under certain conditions. These include:
Having an infection
Having sustained a joint injury
Having surgery or being hospitalized
Overindulgence in alcohol or purine-rich foods
Being stressed
Being dehydrated
